WEEKEND RECAP

OKLAHOMA/TEXAS TECH- 65-21

Oklahoma made a strong case to be the team to play Missouri for the Big Twelve Championship. They showed Graham Harrell and the Red (or black & blue) Raiders no mercy as they harassed the Heisman hopeful quarterback all night and made a strong case for the best one-loss team in the country. They travel to rival Oklahoma State Saturday with huge aspirations (BIG 12 & National Championship) on the line.

FLORIDA/CITADEL- 70-19

The Gators didn't have much trouble Saturday as they stay on task for the showdown with Alabama in the SEC Championship. They travel to Tallahassee to play long time rival Florida State Saturday.

OLE MISS/LSU- 31-13

The Rebels continue to impress as they whipped LSU in Jevan Snead's best performance of his young career Saturday. He threw the ball with great accuracy and played the way Coach Nutt thought he would all year. The Cotton Bowl will be the bowl for the Rebels if they can take care of business at home against a scrappy Mississippi State bunch Friday.

BAMA-

The Crimson Tide was Idle Saturday as they are preparing to end their losing streak to Auburn. The Tide have lost six straight Iron Bowl games and if they lose number seven this dream season that they are having will all be forgotten.

MISSISSIPPI STATE/ARKANSAS- 31-28

Mississippi State is coming off a close win against Arkansas. The Hogs played quarterback Nathan Dick for the first time this season and State played their best offensive game of the year. Tyson Lee and Anthony Dixon played well and give State some momentum heading into Friday's Egg Bowl at rival Ole Miss.

TENNESSEE/VANDERBILT- 20-10

The Vols played their best complete game Saturday as they finally won one for Coach Fulmer. Eric Berry continues to impress and helped the Vols get a much needed win for fans in Rocky Top.

Just a little Summary of some games of interest from this past weekend.

This Next weekend should be a great football weekend as well with:

Ole Miss/MSU

Oklahoma/OSU (Oklahoma State)

Bama/Auburn

Georgia/GT

Notre Dame/USC (haha)
